Sunbathing robin

So lovely to feel the heat of the sun today and the robin enjoyed it as much as I did. I've perfected a tripod from an upturned vase for use out of the kitchen window for shots like this, it was very kind of him to sit in the very narrow field of vision created by the open window. Had the world's population of tree and hedge sparrows and dunnocks thrown in for good measure too, they love our tall hedges and very generous food supplies!
