Storms River suspension bridge
The Storms River was first bridged at sea level to facilitate the walking tracks in the area in 1969. It's a kilometre walk from the cafe (of course) up and down some steep steps to get there but well worth it.
Since 1969 it has been rebuilt twice. Gives you confidence! I believe the river lives up to its name when in flood.
No more then 25 people are allowed on at once. When I crossed, coming in the opposite direction, were a group of weighty chaps each wearing heavy boots. The bridge lurched somewhat both side to side and up and down. It's best to tread lightly.
