The beach house

When you pass it on Hollywood Crescent the front end looks like a cozy low slung brown cottage perched on the cliff. Pretty, but small. But if you go just around the corner, and walk down the path onto Gonzales Bay, you find there's five times more of it cascading down the cliff!

I've eyed this house ever since we arrived in 1995. It's my party piece on the grand tour that I "treat" all my guests to (some fall asleep). I slow as we come round the bend and as we pass the brown cottage, I point it out. "Cute, huh?" says I.

Never mind the season, nor the weather, all my guests are marched down the steep path onto the beach ... to behold! The Beach House!
