La Boulange
An early morning run again today. A large loop through the parks to Coxs Bay, and then on the roads through Herne Bay and Ponsonby back to the apartment. Got a photo of a great piece of street art, which I will take again and then post another time.
That's because both S and I like this cafe shot on Jervois Road. La Boulange is a sort of Deli and grocery as well as a functioning cafe. A number of times S has bought us lunch there after she has finished her yoga lesson, and brought it home. A really tasty and healthy lunch option.
The man at this end appears to not be part of the large group, and is clearly very intent on reading the morning NZ Herald. I didn't approach these people for permission, as there were just too many people to ask, when one includes the jogger, the two walkers and the dog walker almost out of the shot.
Went to the office early also, although a cancellation meant that the first appointment was at 1100. Managed to get almost all the admin stuff sorted, including getting files into the right boxes in the right places. Do have to put another lot into the nearby secure storage facility, as I'm running out of space in the office.
Yesterday, S (with a tiny bit of muscle provided by me) started a reorganisation in the apartment which has resulted in such a powerful sense of space and open-ness. More to do to finish the transformation. Does involve transporting more boxes of books north to the beach house, where the basement storage/office/library will have ample book shelving for those we decide to keep. Some will be donated to the local Hospice garage sale collection. And will provide pleasure and/or interest to new readers.
