Coffee & Walnut Cake

Happy Birthday to Dan! This was a nice little birthday present from Fi for his birthday, which became a top secret present at mine...however it was a beautiful biscuit first time round (a little on the thin side). Yet with a little more baking and mixing it was divine! The icing (marscapone and brown sugar with a hint of coffee) is definitely something to bear in mind for future recipes!
