Long day... took this on my way in this morning. I was excited I was able to get as close as I did. Amazing how big these birds are & the coloring is exquisite.

Today I am thankful for my 2 wonderful children, who always include me in the daily events in their lives. I love that. My daughter is at Leadership School for a month, and is on the final leg. Doing very well, but stressed. Our son got his first responder call today that involved a death, he was clearly upset & we talked for over 40 minutes; 35 minutes more that usual! Miss them deeply.
