P*ssing Down

What a day.

I tiook Juno for her morning walk, not many dogs or owners about. I met a male dog and owner just at the car park on the way back. The dogs had a wee play and I was chatting to the owner, when his dog cocked its leg and pissed down my leg, not just a wee quick squirt but a full flow, I was soaking. I tried to tell the man bit he is a bit deaf. 'Your dog has just pissed on me' , 'Fine the dog is well now'. Ah back to the house to get changed and wash my trousers.

This is the second time a dog has done this, slowly becoming paranoid.

The girls had a football game this morning, we checked the pitch and it was playable and the forecasted wind had not arrived just a still rainy morning.

So 8 hardly soles turned up to play a local boys team. What great game of football, both teams passing and playing the game in a great spirit. There was one incident that made me smile 'a stramash' in the goal mouth were the girls were trying to score and the boys trying to defend. Well doen both teams.

Neil and I discussed the game and delighted to see some of our coaching sessions coming through in the game and the girls trying all the skills we have been practicing.

Suddenly the tap was switched on and the water has fallen from the sky.

It is a day for hearty food, leek and tattie soup(allotment supplied) followed by syrup steam sponge, off to have a cup of tea by the fire.
