Birth of a cloud

Well, I've never seen anything quite like it. I went out of the hangar this morning to take a picture of the gorgeous sunrise, and as I was watching, a cloud just slowly appeared out of nowhere from behind the tower, and scuttled across the sky, growing in size as it went..

And as it grew, and moved away to the north, another cloud popped into existence, and proceeded across the sky, growing as it went.

Then another appeared... And another...all from the same spot behind the tower! Absolutely remarkable! I could have watched them all morning... Unfortunately I had to go flying.

I call events like that the "Wonder of the Day. @That put a smile on my face for the rest of my day.
