Helvellyn across Thirlmere

LARGE is better!

I took a quick drive along the road at the back of Thirlmere today - from which side of the lake you could see the snow on the peak of Helvellyn. I parked, jumped out of the car, set the tripod up and grabbed a few shots just in time - those clouds on the right of the shot were heading my way and they were carrying a lot of rain!

I've got a few days in Keswick alone this week, as Gail and the family have gone back to Maulds so I can concentrate on book writing! (and slipping out for 20 minutes to get a quick blip!)
