Flood!

The back road into town was flooded heavily with all the rain we've had.

A line of cars were queued up both sides, with most people turning around after seeing this much water.

We saw some cars had stopped after crossing, engines flooded, clouds of steam rising up! Chaos! The guy at the back with his hazard lights flashing seemed to have stopped too by the time we reached the front of the queue.

We were going to turn around too until we saw this brave soul in a Beetle getting through. See the bow wave breaching the stone wall!

The beetle made it, no bother. with someone else hiding close behind hoping for a smaller bow wave! (that's cheating!)

So we had a go next and..........



...no problems! Our wee Skoda didn't miss a beat and drove right through, past all the nervous drivers in the queue on the other side, feeling proud and brave!
