Cheer Me Up

Gotta love a bit of Danielle Steel fantasy and happy-ending drama to cheer a girl up! Ok, so it's sappy, and unbelievable, not least because of how perfect the characters and their lives are, but it did help to (sort of) alleviate some of the pain today :-)

I had a day at home today. Partly because I think I have a sinus infection and my face really hurts, but also because I needed a personal day to wallow and take stock. Or as I like to call it, a Mental Health Day. I did find it therapeutic to potter about at home quietly, reflecting and all that. It wasn't a bad day either, as the sun kept peeping through the grey cloud.

I'll be ok. I'm supposed to be meeting him on Thursday, but today he let me know he may not be able to make it as a family member is ill. I think it was with trepidation that he told me, but I did appreciate knowing in advance ;-)

I'm going to try and go into work tomorrow- it might be best to keep busy, plus I have a million things going on. It's just hard to face the world sometimes.
