I want to ride my bicycle....

We were in the swimming pool for 8.45 today. Lots of lengths although she seemed to forget how to do it proper style for a little while! She enjoyed jumping in loads of times, and had a quick swim in the learner pool as it was super warm and she wanted to do some swimming under the hoops.

We headed to nursery after a snack stop and she apparently did lots of imaginative play. They were outside in the middle of a clearly involved game. She had asked to ride her bike home from nursery. She started so well, a fantastic totally independent setting off, carefully towards a path she was looking forward to being able to cycle. We did some practice with braking, thats not quite so sorted yet! She forgot about the practicing as we approached our garage door and used that to stop her instead. We had a chat about how that perhaps wasnt an ideal option. But she's still going to ride it to nursery tomorrow. The novelty has not worn off!

We finished the Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe last night and today started Prince Caspian. We are also reading a treasury of ballet stories, tonight was The Nutcracker. She has decided she wants to be Clara.
