Basil

Nothing Fawlty about this little basil :)
It tasted yum in our salad tonight.

I used to hate the taste of this herb - many years ago, we were invited to lunch at a friends home and were presented with a tomato and basil flan. The pastry was raw. The eggy filling was uncooked as well. It was vile and even though it was inedible, we had to force some of it down. After that, I associated basil with that lunch.

Yeuch!!!

It took years for me to enjoy basil again!
