Time gone by!

You can tell it is some time ago from the dress design and the hair style! It was a Windover D-back limousine that I bought for £125.

This back-dated photo is EXIF dated 1970, but was actually taken in the 60s. We bought the Royce — not 'Rolls', as Charles Rolls was only the money provider for the firm, whereas Henry Royce was the designer and engineer! Sadly, we had to sell it a year later, as it needed 4 tyres, which would have cost much, much more than a month's income, and as newly-weds we had no savings at all. Yes, we should have laid it up until we could afford to run it, but we didn't, anymore than the 1940 Harley-Davidson I had before marriage and, again, sold. Ah, me!

NB: I don't know what was in Helen's plastic bag, but it looks like a salmon. If so, it must have been poached, for we couldn't afford that!
