War Memorial

A return trip to London today and before I met a colleague for my first meeting I took the opportunity to take a quick blip of this memorial at the end of the platforms at Kings Cross.

It recognises and remembers those who worked on the railways during the war and lost their lives.

It was nice to get a 4.30pm home train and arrived back about 7.30.

Tonight its packing to return to the big smoke tomorrow night until Thursday night. With a tube strike planned I think flat walking shoes will be packed.
