Shell shocker

As I walked along the beach today
A giant shell stood in my way
With door and chimney open wide
Inviting me to step inside.
And there I rested for a while
In dreams, with sea sounds and a smile.

A little whimsy as the shell in this macro really does look enormous to me, as if it should be on a sculpture beach or in the nearby Turner Contemporary. Battered but beautiful, too. I nearly used a slightly closer-up version but it didn't give the same sense of scale.
