My new colleague

Today is an exciting day. After almost 3 months of struggling to work for 5 consultants instead of my usual 3, my new colleague started today. She has some 20 odd years experience of working in the hospital so I didn't have to teach her how to use the systems. She is a quick learner with how surgery works so far though (her background is medicine) and I reckon by the end of the week she will be comfortable in her new role.

We bought her a potted plant for her desk to welcome her to the department.
