A day in good old Joensuu

After hotel breakfast we went to downtown. Ahti fell asleep in a pushchair and we went to a nice cafe. Brainfreeze arrived to town soon and we met him at Joensuu arts and crafts center. I had some coffee and delicacies also with him while Ahti slept in our company and my wife was touring the craft boutiques.

We headed to Joensuu art museum, where another friend of ours joined us. I had never been to the art museum before though I used to live two years in Joensuu. I enjoyed the exhibitions. Ahti was fascinated mostly by the thresholds of some of the exhibition rooms. He also tried to climb some sculptures.

We had a great dinner at rock club Kerubi. Later one more friend joined us at another restaurant. It wasn't one of the most interesting restaurants in town but it was such one in which people aren't very drunk even quite late in the evening. Since two of three friends we were with hadn't met Ahti before we kept him with us at downtown until he got tired. Then I and Mrs TJ looked after him in turns.
