The Birdcage

What a busy day we had!

After last nights 40th Birthday celebrations I was picked up in a taxi at 10am this morning. I dropped MrsT off at the railway station to pick up the car before picking up clients and colleagues and headed into All Bar One on George Street for a pint.

Then down to Easter Road to watch the semi final between Hearts at Inverness. Inverness won on penalty kicks.

After that finished we went to the Tempus Bar on George Street for a few pints before dinner at Fishers in the City on Thistle Street where I had surf n turf with lobster for the first time.

I wasn't quite sure how to tackle the lobster but got there in the end.

After this we went to a new bar on Queen Street called Panda & Sons. This is a very interesting bar and is hidden behind a Barber Shop i.e. you think you're walking into a barber shop and go downstairs through a bookcase into the bar.

Whilst there we enjoyed a few half and halfs and sampled a much recommended cocktail called the Birdcage.
