The Ball

Paksoc ball looked very nice. Doing the photos was tricky, as I was planning on doing them for free for the experience and my portfolio. However the organizers had also invited two pros up from London and not paid them an hourly rate but allowed them to charge for prints. This meant that the pros hated me for stealing their business (until I spoke to them and they realised I had no idea why we were double booked), and the guests were annoyed because they didn't want to have to pay for photos after paying for a ticket (students). The whole thing made me quite uncomfortable and meant that I couldn't really enjoy the evening. Better luck next time.
