Runswick Bay in the (very) early morning
Despite weather forecasts it was a fabulously clear ans still evening last night. So I thought I would have a bash at another feature of old wet film photography that I had never really tried out in digital, that of reciprocity failure.
So, off I went along the beach at Runswick bay, in the early hours of this morning......wondering if the stars would stay on show for me and how they would look if I really extended the shutter speed out to minutes. However, having forgotten to bring my cable release with me I couldn't use the B setting so I was limited to the maximum internal shutter speed via the self timer...30s. So had various attempts at playing with the film speed and the best angle to include the patches of water still lying on the beach. I liked this one because the star reflections came out best.
