Departing for the first transfer of the day.
The only thing I like about early starts, is that the light is much better for photographs. This is PJ heading out, after the boat came off the trailer to pick up a lady who had come over from Australia to have a look at her house here. She was driving back to Christchurch to fly home, PJ was dropping her off across the bay, where she had left her car yesterday afternoon. It will save her 1 hour & 20 minutes driving today. She is wanting to sell the house but the market isn't doing much, so she is going to keep it for the time being. They were unfortunate, as they paid a very high price for it a few years ago.
I got my Panasonic Lumix DMC- TZ30 today, it arrived on the mail-car this afternoon. So far, so good. I am impressed with the macro on it. Still got lots of playing around to see what it can do.
PJ is up the hill, taking the dogs for a walk, first time he has done that for a while.
I'm now going to sit back with a cider - Monteiths have a Pear & Ginger one, that isn't too bad, should have been Ginger & Pear.
I went down to the beach at high tide, and was thinking about a swim, but the water is colder than it was a few days ago. But the temperature has got up to 29 Deg C, when I last looked.
