33/365 Tutoring

I've been helping Kate with her math. We don't usually meet on a Sunday but we were making up for two missed weeks in a row. Fractions, decimals, geometry—we worked hard for almost two hours. It's good to know that I'm still smarter than a fifth grader.

Given the severity of this winter my heart leaped at the possibility of an early spring, and while I put little stock in the prognostications of a fickle rodent I was disheartened to learn that Phil saw his shadow.
