No Pictures Please!

My first week with the teens at church...minus No 1 son, who had stolen my camera to take the picture...I plied them with Mountain Dew and listened to them talk about cartoons, and school, and teen stuff. I have always worked with younger children, because I had younger children. But it was time to take a brave leap into the scary world of kids who are all taller than me :0)

I discovered that....
High school is hard when you're failing classes, or when your teachers are mean.
And that sometimes they're just waiting for the day to end so they can escape.
That cartoons are funny
That pizza is better than coffee
And that they're all scared of the camera :0)

...and I'm posting this on Sunday because I'm way behind on my week
