Flood

Our walk around the Kennet and Avon canal and River Thames in Reading wasn't quite as planned due to the flooding - this is the canal towpath disappearing under water at one point. We had to turn back in the end later in the walk as the river had flooded the path too much - it seemed that today the Kings Water Meadow was just that!

However, a lovely day today for my birthday. After the walk, we had dinner in Browns and then watched Inside Llewyn Davis at the cinema - great film with wonderful music. Another year done, and a new one to come. Who knows what's in store.
