Elan Valley Woodland
A bright sunny morning for a change so we went to the Elan Valley for a walk. The old railway trackbed that was used in the building of the dams is now a footpath and provides good fairly dry and even walking. As we started at the top dam it was uphill on the way back though!
The sun was striking through the trees and highlighting the clumps of moss and the tree trunks, giving more texture to the scene than is usual.
