Newburgh Skyline

Stayed pretty close to home today, finishing with a visit to Gowkhall and our tea made for us. No cooking, no dishes..perfect.

Earlier this morning I did venture on my normal dog walk as the sun was peaking over Clachard Craig which towers over the town. After about 4 years of taking my camera on dog walks it is becoming difficult to find new things or new views to photograph. If you've ventured into my flickr website you'll see what I mean there's a lot of photos of boats

So that was today's problem, however I managed to find two views I've never taken before mainly because of the position of the sun against these buildings at the bottom of Tay Street. The other one was of the backs of the houses on the High Street from around the same spot but that hasn't made the cut.

The photo is a bit darker than it actually was which was achieved by increasing the shutter speed to give an improved silhouette and pick up as much detail in the clouds near the very bright sun. a simple photo for a simple day.

The Blipfoto title does what it says on the tin but continues my Bob Dylan Theme with Nashville Skyline in mind. It's a perfect Sunday in the house album, simple country styled songs.
