Place Flagey and the Étangs d'Ixelles

It was a BEAUTIFUL day today in Brussels, so I decided to go for a walk down to Place Flagey and the Ixelles ponds. Even though it's only ten minutes away on foot, I hadn't managed to visit this area of Brussels before. When I arrived there was a bustling market going on in the square with an abundance of friends and families enjoying a glass of wine and some frites in the sunshine. I had a yummy organic ice tea and went for a stroll round the ponds. Weather like this makes me even more impatient for the summer!
