Candlemas

Or cakemas. Mmmm. A lovely afternoon with the ladies at Carolines house. Mr Swift left us a particularly fine Victoria sponge and J provided the most amazing lemon drizzle cake- Seen here under the hovering hand of Jasmin.
Had to go into work beforehand and had anticipated it to be a quick visit to do some wrapping, then to the pool and gym for leg stretching before heading to cake land but unfortunately work stuff took longer than anticipated and the gym had to get missed. I get particularly frustrated now when stuff gets in the way of my recovering health.
Cake and fizz helped fix the soul, but not the hips. Only exercise will do that. Just struggling to fit it all in. Earlier mornings I guess.....uuuueeerrrggghhh....
