Deceptive Serenity

Despite all the excitement at high tide this morning, with waves pounding over walls down the west coast of Guernsey, water rushing across roads and into shops at the sea front in town and the sea causing general disruption, my favourite picture of today was this rather serene image ...
Serene, however, for a few moments only.
The cloud that caused this rainbow was about to drench me with rain and hail. Luckily, I'd put my "main" camera safely away in it's waterproof case and took this picture using my pocket "emergency" camera. The little camera still got a bit wet, but hopefully it hasn't been damaged in any way (it still seems to work okay) ... :o)
