Gate way to PeterCulter from the West

As one drives from the West to PeterCulter over the Culter Burn bridge on the A93. There is now located on the left a new feature which aims to recall the history and heritage village. It is inspired by the creation of the parish of PeterCulter in the 13th Century.

The statue was designed by Ian Anderson, using traditional materials and the methods and skills used in the offshore Oil Industry.

I think its up to the individual as to what they think of this new feature commissioned in 2013.
