Alyth Beavers
Another washed out morning in Braemar with rain beating against the guesthouse windows. The steady stream of traffic heading south indicated the snowgate was open unlike yesterday. We headed off and drove over the Cairnwell pass, passing between the deep drifts of snow at the ski resort.
Starting from the sleepy village of Alyth, we walked north along the Cateran Trail to Bamff to check out the beavers and their teethwork on the trees.
