Well today has been a day of baking, yes I bake for the animals well not the cats don't think they would be that bothered

Bunnies treats in pets shops often aren't actually suitable for bunnies so I make my own. And as for Ferd I don't really like commercial dog treats so again I make my own also cheaper

For the other bunny lovers out there:
1 banana mashed
1 carrot grated
Handful of oats
Couple handfuls of nuggets (crushed)

Mix together until it's sticky, add a little water if you need to. Squish into little flattened balls, I used two teaspoons to squish my mix so I got nice uniform little shapes. Bake in a cool oven until dried out (I think I did about 75degrees for around an hour, but then I finished then off at the bottom of the oven after I'd cranked up the heat for the dog biscuits).

For the dog lovers:
1 banana mashed
2 carrots grated
1 egg beaten
Desert/tabled spoon of golden syrup
Spelt (or wholemeal) flour as much as needed
Milk as much as needed

Mix all together and add flour/milk until you have a rollable dough
Turn out onto floured board roll out and cut with what ever cutter takes your fancy. Bake at around 175 degrees for around 20 minutes.

If after all that you fancy a biccie:
8oz SR flour
5oz butter
4oz caster sugar
1 egg beaten

Rub butter and flour together finely (add spice if you want) add sugar, add egg and mix to a stiff dough. Turn out onto floured board and work it to a smooth dough, wrap in cling film or pop in sandwich bag and shove in fridge for half an hour. Turn back out onto floured board and roll out reasonably thin, use trusty cutter, place on buttered baking tray bake at around 175 degrees for around 15 to 18 minutes (makes about 30)
Cool on a wire rack then proceed to merrily scoff biscuits. Also nice if you melt chocolate and then dip or decorate them.
