I slept until 11 o’clock this morning, as did Alan. I think David thought we’d never wake up though he did enjoy a peaceful morning. I think we need to get to our beds earlier during the week.

Spent the afternoon achieving the sum total of diddly squat.

Ed came to spend the evening with Alan and David and I went out for dinner with friends we haven’t seen since last June. Lovely evening catching up with them and delicious food too.

Got a text on the way home from Marion to say her daughter Emma had a baby boy at 6.13 this evening; 7lb 4oz, mother and baby both doing well. I am so happy for them.

Welcome to the world baby Lucas Andrew James. Can’t wait to get my cuddle :-))
