Waste Of A Name

Why do Weterspoons name their pubs, nobody ever says; "I'll see you in the Packet Station later", it's always "I'll see yo in Wetherspoons later".
Arriving just before 10pm last night after a long day I expected to have a couple of beers and be home for midnight. Much to my surprise they serve until 1am, at the time it seemed daft not to use the three hours.
Always good to catch up with friends and I enjoyed seeing Michelle and Tracy again
