Seated Buddha

This little Buddha sits on my desk. He reminds me to slow down and empty my mind a little. I do find a little place of calm when I look into his composed face, but perfect balance of thought and tranquility are sometimes short lived in this house. Those quiet moments are important though, a bit like refuelling, ready to hit the ground running again.
