Male Blackbird

It's been a beautiful sunny day again, two in a row is unbelievable! I was able to take dozens of bird photographs in the garden today but this one of the male Blackbird stood out against the rest, I particularly liked how the sun was shining on his feathers defining each one, and how it highlighted the yellow outer eye too. Whilst he was eating the apple he had his back to me, so I choose this one of his profile as he prepared to fly away.
