Pencaitland Kirk
We took a walk through the nearby village of Pencaitland this afternoon. The main road is closed to traffic for 4 weeks, so a village which normally has traffic running through it all the time, has taken a step back in time. We really enjoyed our walk.
Here is the village church which was consecrated in 1242, It is a nice example of an early Scottish Parish Kirk.
My son and his old pal D came for a long anticipated homemade lasagna, salad, apple pie and cream at home which was lovely.
I hope you've all had a good Sunday.
