Oh I do like to be by the seaside..

Mulgrave Woods was the venue of today's Acorn orienteering event. Parking was in the car parks at Sandsend near Whitby.

Due to shooting in the wood yesterday the controls could not be put out until after 5pm. Congratulations to the organising club working in a very dark wood to ensure everything was ready for this morning. Enjoyed my run despite some very steep slippery slopes.

Took the opportunity to take some photographs in the warm morning light. Glad I did as the light was not as good after I had finished.

Then it was a dash back home to return Matthew to Leeds to start back at university. Glad to be now sitting in front of the fire having had a good soak in the bath.
