Chinese New Year Celebrations In London

Trafalgar Square in Central London was awash with colour this weekend as Chinese New Year was celebrated by Londoners, tourists and the local Chinese community.

As well as the parade a central music stage and Chinese goods stalls were set up in the historic London square where the statue of Lord Nelson looked down on the proceedings. Even the sun came out on this cold winters day and the rain held off giving the crowds a wonderful and colourful day out celebrating the Year of the Horse.
