Off the beaten track*
After a week where having fun on snow shoes wasn't always the aim it was good to get out, explore some hills & well, just have a good time.
Today me & Spike from the course met up with Gary & Diane - two British IML's who are living out in the Alps and making their living from, amongst other things, snow shoeing.
Gary & Diane were great company for the day & Spike & I both learnt a lot of 'real world' information from them - of course it probably helped that the sun was shining, the views were spectacular & we started the day getting to know each other over a croissant & a coffee, but, spending time with two enthusiastic professionals who really knew their stuff was invaluable ahead of assessment next month.
Big Thanks.
*this chap clearly appreciated the efforts we had made in breaking trail across the hillside for him.
