"Carls-heaven" fading in the mist...

Already the beloved presence of our heavenly haven on the German Weser-riverside slowly fades into the nearby future. After some fortnight at the Dutch Northseacoast we will be back here again. So no sorrow in saying farewell to our “second” home in Bad Karlshafen, this old Harbour-town founded in 1699 by Count Carl of Hessen-Kassel. As a safe haven for the persecuted french refugees of the Huguenots.

On the contrary, tomorrow there will be that interchange by railway to our “other second home” behind the dunes, very near to that eternal “mother”-sea, which I loved already as a little boy, since I was born in the Hague in the beginning of WWII.

But for Admirer&Me this Carlsheaven is the most wonderful&perfect place we finally found together by sheer Luck or Destiny or Pure Love, you name it. We really are grateful to enjoy this kind of great and priviledged living, this “double”-life between two intensely lovable places & spaces. As I wrote before: sea equals mountain and the streaming of the waters - vast or small - is the in-between: connecting the sky and the earth.

So again, once back on our own feet at the seaside, I will continue to explore the land-, water- and seascapes, the brooks, the places of interest for deep ecological reflexions, and alltogether doing the daily excercises, making my modest Blipcontributions for you.

And try to find back that spiritual connection to all the living - call it the Tree of Life - that makes you laugh & hum & sing about those deep Sorrows & the Insignificant Preoccupations, which might have held you captive for “too” long. Finally, I really feel liberated through our stay here together. Thanks to Admirer&Mischa, you who stimulated me into this Blipadventure, let us find each other again at the seaside with fishermans joy and salty sand in our eyes.
