And so another Six Nations starts ...

It was as utterly unpredictable and as bonkers as ever.

Wales were up first against a resilient Italian side. It wasn't the greatest welsh performance but the job got done.

Next up le crunch. France v England. A game of two halves and a thrilling last two minutes. France storm away to a lead, England peg them back only to end with heartbreak in the final minutes with a superb French try.

Plenty of beer was quaffed. Plenty of nibbles noshed. And a haggis was boiled for our evening meal. What a lovely day!
