A local landmark
This windmill stands quite isolated above a small village in Bedfordshire. Anyone can visit it by calling at the local pub and borrowing the key.
It was a lovely morning so I took a drive around the area, passing a house built for the Duke of Bedford, which I understood he retreated to when Woburn Abbey was having a refurb.
After stopping near the windmill I passed a farm with Llama grazing in the distance. I'll try and get a decent photo of them one day, but today they weren't very co-operative.
The sun is still shining and I should have gone for a walk but I'm going to see what's happening in the rugby. Then this evening I'll watch the tennis, amongst other programmes.
