Out for Sunday walk
At last, at last the SUN! A beautiful sunny day and perfect for a decent blip. Did all the boring things first - dump, Lidl's - and then went for a drive to Johnshaven. The seas must have been really heavy during the last high tide because the road around the harbour was strewn with boulders. The sea was quite high at noon today too - there were very few seagulls around, they'd probably moved inland to cosier places! There was hardly any snow on the hills - unusual for this time of year - and the shots of them weren't very good even though the sun was shining on them. Went back to St Cyrus Beach - the flooding is still bad on the shore road but I braved it without fear this time. Got some super shots of ponies, gulls, oyster catchers, ramblers, but these swans out for their Sunday walk were really splendid. Have a look at them in larger version too!
