Workshop

Today we held a workshop for the teachers in Rwanda who will be taking over as e-tutors for the online course at present run by a Swedish organization, MKFC.

The purpose of the course is to support teachers at Teacher Training Colleges in Rwanda to use educational technology and more learner-centred methods of teaching. There are many challenges, such as lack of computers, constant power cuts and breaks in Internet services, but also a lot of optimism and determination on the part of the Rwandan teachers.

They're also quick learners with a sense of humour - the smiling gentlemen on the left of the picture are filming me whilst I'm taking pictures of them....
