First proper walk of the year

It was such a beautiful day today we made sure we went for a walk. We weighed up where was least likely to be water logged and chose Frensham Ponds, because it is largely sand and sandy soil.
It was ok on the whole there were a few boggy bits but nothing some walking boots with gaiters couldn't handle.
We did walk through one bit, thankfully on a footbridge but the area around it could have been a mangrove it was so flooded.
Here's to many walks and in the not too distant future we will have a dog in tow.
