Stylus

There is something magical about the simplicity of a good old vinyl record. Make a magnet wobble in a coil of wire and you get electricity. Ok there's lots of clever bits to make it jiggle in such a way you can amplify it to get the correct sound but its still not far from Michael Faraday's experiments about 200 years ago :-)

Just for information the sound created today was Suppers Ready, Side 2 of the classic album from Genesis - Foxtrot.
