Fence Lines

Winter is finally here. Fleece jacket, wool cap and wool gloves. How fortuitous that there is a hole in the right index finger of the glove--the shutter finger! I don't even have to take them off to snap a photo.
There is a subdued, gray quality to the photo that matches the cold of this day. I had also taken a beautiful photo of a lily, but it didn't quite seem to fit for today. Maybe another time...
