Monas

Monas is the name of the national monument of Indonesia. Usually you can go up into the flame to get great views of the city, but today the elevator was broken. Despite the broken elevator, there was quite a street festival feel waking around. People selling shirts, hats, kites, and souvenirs. Teenagers and children yelling "Hey Mister" when we walked by, and a few asking for us to take a picture with them. One man remarked about how pointy our noses were.

Afterward we went for a marathon brunch at the Shangri La Hotel! All in all, a nice Sunday to round out the long weekend!
